1. don't be set on a price...be willing to negotiate it. you may end up selling more stuff if you cave on the prices a little bit, and getting rid of the stuff is the point of a yard sale.
2. remember that whatever you don't sell can still "be gotten rid of" by donating to goodwill or salvation army (or something similar)
i think the brownie/cookie idea is good, but i wouldn't set a minimum price on it to get one free...i'd suggest giving them one if they make a purchase and also selling them (for like $0.25) if they don't make a purchase.
